Back to DOCA and HCC

I’ll be returning to play chess in the Dean of Chess Academy (DOCA) Friday League on 6th November. And next Wednesday I plan to start playing at the Hamilton Chess Club also.

Pizza and a Lecture at Dean’s Chess Academy

It’s Tuesday and that means another evening of pizza and a chess Lecture with IM Dean Ippolito at his Chess Academy in Branchburg New Jersey.

Each lecture is only $30 and that includes pizza and drinks! It starts at 6:30pm. The lectures are on a different chess theme. Last week it was on endings with opposite colored bishops and how to build a fortress. The lecture before that was about making choices between candidate moves. I’m sure tonight’s lecture will be another good one. Dean always does a good job. It’s very informal and you can ask Dean lots of chess questions. It’s a fun time discussing chess an IM and a bunch of good local players.
